The Bachelor of Information Technology is the Faculty's external degree, delivered in partnership with the Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL). It opens a University of Moratuwa IT qualification to school leavers and working adults anywhere in Sri Lanka — study is by distance and online learning, with examinations held at regional centres, and no university placement through the UGC intake is required.
